Fan girls, Ships and Fandoms oh my!

As you know if you have been reading my blog on regular basis. I have have started to write fan fiction.  Fan fiction is wondrous and vast place with its own language.  I'll be honest, it can be a scary place
Sometimes really odd.
and Sometimes just plain confusing
I wouldn't have any other way.  The writing abilities ranges from really bad to oh my god why doesn't this person have a book deal.
Not all of it is dirty, but since I prefer to write smut I'll be be talking about the naughty stuff.
When I started writing again. fan fiction seemed like a great place to start.  Start out with a concept I love and add my own twist to it. I also figured since, if my writing was terrible then it wouldn't be a big deal.  Fan fiction welcomes writers of all skill levels.
I found it a bit of challenge working in some one else's world. On the upside it gave me a chance to watch more supernatural for research. (Yes thats my story and I'm sticking to it) Halfway throuh writing that fan fiction I abandon it and started writing my own original work.  While I had plenty of supernatural enablers most of them are fawning over Sam, Dean and Castiel, I'm out looking for a crossroads.  They are team Destiel and I'm totally team Crowlean? Deawely? Anyways you get my point. Writing fan fiction also inspired me to start writing original work again. It helped me find my love of writing again.
Then I found the House of Bob.  (Bob is what Mark Sheppard calls his fandom.)  What joy to find others who love Mark as much as I did. That lead me to The Mark Sheppard fan fiction Compendium.  The Compendium is an amazing place. Talk about enablers. When a photo sparked a fan fiction story idea.       Everyone in the group was like so when can we read it.
And i'm thinking to myself "Crap now I have to write it."
And I did. I had a great time doing it. What really motivated me was I had these people who wanted to read the story I wanted to tell. and friends who believed in my writing enough to help me edit my stuff.  (I do have the most amazing friends)
Sharing my writing is the hardest thing  for me to do.  Dancing with fire, no biggy. Taking my clothes off in front of an audience no sweat. Spinning knives dangerously close to my neck and torso, not a problem.  You want to read my writing now I'm a bundle of nerves.  I'm getting better at sharing.  I believe that writing fan fiction is going to make me a better writer.  Whats more fun then writing dirty stories for my friends and sharing them.

And now back to writing.
Coming soon to my fan fiction #crowlconda.
Bobs knows what I'm talking about.
